فروش بازی Horizon Forbidden West به بیش از 8.4 میلیون واحد رسید

مجموعه Horizon با عرضه Horizon Forbidden West در سال 2022 و Horizon Call of the Mountatin در کنار Forbidden West: Burning Shores بسیار فعال و پربار بوده است. طبیعتا چنین عرضه فعالی منجر به افزایش فروش این سری می‌شود.

به گزارش گیمین‌گرویتی، استودیوی گوریلا در وبلاک پلی استیشن اعلام کرد که تا آوریل 2023 فروش بازی Horizon Forbidden West به بیش از 8.4 میلیون واحد در سراسر جهان رسید. فروش کلی مجموعه Horizon هم با این آمار به 32.7 میلیون واحد رسیده است. علاوه بر این، گوریلا افزود «میلیون‌ها» بازیکن دیگر هم از طریق سرویس‌های اشتراکی پلی استیشن مثل PlayStation Plus و Play at Home مجموعه Horizon را تجربه کرده‌اند.

گوریلا آمار فعلی فروش Horizon Zero Dawn و Call of the Mountain (انحصاری PS VR2) را اعلام نکرد. تا فوریه سال گذشته Zero Dawn به فروش 20 میلیون واحدی رسیده بود.

باعث تعجب نیست که گوریلا برای آینده این مجموعه برنامه‌های زیادی داشته باشد. آن‌ها پیش از این تایید کرده بودند که علاوه بر کار روی دنباله Forbidden West، مشغول ساخت یک بازی مستقل Co-Op از Horizon هم هستند. همچنین طبق اطلاعات لو رفته، نسخه ریمستر و بهبود یافته Horizon Zero Dawn برای PS5 هم در دست ساخت است اما با توجه به گزارشات، این نسخه در داخل استودیوی گوریلا ساخته نمی‌شود.

سریال تلویزیونی Horizon هم توسط نتفلیکس در دست توسعه قرار دارد.
