به گزارش گیمین‌گرویتی، بازی World of Goo در سال 2008، زمانی که بازی‌های ایندی در دوران اولیه‌ی خود به سر می‌بردند، عرضه شد و با تحسین منتقدین همراه بود. از زمان عرضه‌ی این بازی تا به حال، شهرت آن تنها در میان طرفداران خود افزایش یافته است و اگر شما جزو کسانی بودید که در این 15 سال امیدوار عرضه‌ی دنباله‌ی آن بودید، بالاخره زمان آن فرا رسیده است.

در مراسم The Game Awards 2023، استودیوی 2D Boy، از بازی World of Goo 2 رونمایی کرد. گیم‌پلی این بازی همانند نسخه‎ی پیشین خود، پلیرها را درگیر حل پازل‌هایی در فضای دو بعدی ساید-اسکرولینگ (2D Side-Scrolling) می‌کند. به نظر می‌رسد که این دنباله‌، فضا و مکانیک‌های نسخه‌ی قبل خود را به دلیل آرت استایل تقریباً یکسان، به خوبی به تصویر می‌کشد.

 

بازی World of Goo 2 برای عرضه در سال 2024 برنامه‌ریزی شده است. پلتفرم‌های مقصد این بازی هنوز مشخص نیست. منتظر اطلاعات بیشتر در هفته‌ها و ماه‌های آینده از این بازی باشید.
